Odd Question - Power Steering Resevoir Magnets 700

Just bought some round magnets for catching the residual crap in the power steering fluid. What do you folks use to "string the magnet up" so that you can get the magnets out to clean/examine them? I am looking for something that will not disintigrate/react while submerged in the oily P/S fliud? Copper, yarn, twine??

I use string. The cap keeps the magnet suspended in the fluid. (740T).
