Who rents good trailing arm bushing tool? 200

Hello,

I have changed all rear bushings on my recently acquired 89 240, except trailing arm. I have access to a lift, air, and 25 ton press. The job went well. I would like to rent a good trailing arm tool from someone please. I saw a "Duane" mentioned in the archives, but I couldn't find his e-mail.

I would treat it lovingly...thank you!

You did not say where you are located. I built "the tool" as per instructions on the web page..worked perfectly on my car. I am not interested in making any money on it, but $10 for my trouble plus postage seems reasonable to me. I live in Florida..if that is closer to you than Ohio, let me know and we can make it happen.

I just made mine. I haven't used it yet so I don't know if everything fits nice or you would be welcome to it.

E-mail me with your address at ODGuru@kc.rr.com. I will have to have it shipped out of Illinois as that is where it is at at this time.

Your cost would be $35 plus about $8 return shipping if you choose to use mine.

Included is the socket to drive the tool and instructions.

Duane

I have one that I made myself...If you want it, I'll rent it really cheap...10 bucks plus shipping costs sound good? I'll even be back home in Ohio late next week and not up here at school in Canada so I can send it from there (and you could return it to there too). It worked just fine for me to remove and install new bushings in my car last summer. However, it isn't the Volvo official tool, which I believe is what Duane Hoberg has. So it's up to you on what you want. best of luck with those pesky things either way! if you want it, just drop me an email at ngundy@hotmail.com
good luck
