Lamda Sond Indicator 700 1990

Any Ideas? The Lamda Sond indicator in my '90 740 Turbo Intercooler always lit when it is put on idle (usually appears after 5-10 minutes). To turn it off I usually pull out fuse #1 (fuel pump) and put it back again. It's OK when it's running. I changed all the vacuum hoses and it is now the only problem I have. It used to produce black smoke after 30 minutes of driving and the rpm got lower from 750. Any ideas?

To db: the Lamda Sond is a sensor located in the front part of the exhaust pipe. It sensors oxygen. In my car the indicator light is at the extreme right.
