gold virgo finish 200 1984

I have the gold accent package on my '84 245ti including the gold virgo rims.
I would like to keep the gold but one is a little stained from some kind of oil or something.Anyone know a safe way to get these clean or refinished. Thanks,Ron B

We always use Castrol Super Clean in the purple bottle to clean painted surfaces like wheels. If that doesn't work, you may have no choice but to have that wheel refinished- probably $100-125 from a wheel shop.

Thanks A.R. for the tip...This morning I went out and tried some paint thinner from my garage and this took off the stains with out any further damage...
