Hey,
I was looking on ebay and i saw these kits. They say that they are for a 960 but i was wondering if they would it my 740 without much trouble? What do you guys think, does it seem possible? Heres the link

Florida Auto Trim http://www.flautotrim.com/ used to show the 740 wood dash kit on their web site. Although it's no longer there, it is still shown in the catalogue that my dealer has.

Ive seen a couple 700 series dash kits up on ebay before, ive bid on them but once they go over $60 i back off one day i will get one but not for $100 plus dollars as ive seen them go for.

That kit wouldn't fit. There is too much difference between the cars. There used to be kits available for the 740/940 cars. I suppose they were for later cars, but anything that had to do with the lower dashboard (below the cluster) and the console, with exception of the shifter area, should work pretty well.

Also there were some nice kits that had door insets, where the carpeted ones are on most 700 series cars.
