I apologize if this is something I should already know.
My odometer has stopped on my '86 244 DL.

The speedo is functioning fine. What gives? I come from the world of speedo cables ... I hear there is something electronis for this speedo. ????

Help. Skill level ... Have tackled a timing belt replacement, brake disc replacements, general tune ups and tie rod replacement.

Next you'll be tring to tell me that the clock is supposed to keep time and that the wiper and washer on the tailgate are not just decoration.

You need the $25 gear that Jeff Kaplan sells. I think he is at hamonbagel@aol.com but I am not sure about the aol part. Anyway, you can find him easily with a search for VDO Volvo odometer.
