Specs for my cam 140-160

Phil --

I'm going to adjust my valves the way you suggest. What
are the values for my cam (c grind B30)? I'll also be doing
the "just opening" and "just closing method as well. I want
my car to sound less like a bucket of bolts and I've got a
replacement block with new isky cam waiting in the wings in
case I screw something up...

Chris,

Great, give it a try -- I really think you'll like it. Just watch carefully which are the intake and exhaust valves.

Specs for the "C" cam are .018" cold and .016" hot. I ran mine at .014" hot in a B18B for a long time with zero problems -- but try the "real" specs first and see if that doesn't help all on its own.
