horn button removal 93 940 w/airbag

i have a 93 940 with the airbag in the center of the steering wheel. horn is not working. i checked at the horns and power doesnt make it there. how do i pull off the horn buttons on the wheel to clean and check that end? thanks.

As I recall, I used a small flat blade screwdriver and pushed under the the button betweeen the steering wheel and the 'button'. Pulling up at the same time released the unit. Good to disconnect the battery before attacking. Take your time and be gentle.
