Can anyone offer any suggestions on installation of the cd changer which goes in the glove box. We have the changer and the VOL-ALP connector. I thought maybe the glove box removal might lead to the back of the factory alpine radio. Thanks for you time.

No. It is actually quite easy. The glove box is removed with the screws on the front. It just slides out. Then you have clear access for the adapter to go all the way to the back of the radio. You will have to drill one hole in the lower left corner of the glove box for the wire. The adaper is long enough to reach to the radio. You will also have to identify the power source wire for the radio and splice it to power the changer through the adapter (yellow wire coming off the vol-alp). Once everything is working you can secure the changer in the glove box with two pieces of foam wedged above and below. The mounting brackets and screws are superfluous.
