Hi all,

I'm in the process of sorting out my lovely 960-24 205bhp estate '93. In very good basic condition it requires all the usual servicing. I'm going to town on this one but one of my 'stable' procedures I'm struggling to find parts for - poly bushes for the suspension. These bushes are fantastic - does anyone have a supplier/web address? Also in the UK I can only get (got) uprated EBC 'green stuff' front pads, anyone got any high friction performance rear pads for this ABS car?

Call IPD for the conical strut rod bushings and the sway bar end link bushings in poly. IPD is the only supplier that I know of for the strut rod parts but if you can find Energy Suspension part no. 9-8105RC then you can use this universal enlink bushing kit for your sway bar. Just did this upgrade last weekend and what a difference. The energy suspension part is 10us for 8 bushings and washers- you only need 4. Ipd gets 2.75us for the poly endlinks. I can only recommend pbr metal master for the rear of your car. Good Luck.

This is invaluabe information! I actually have no rear sway bar which I find alarming for V90 wagon. I can get a 22mm one from Volvo, but I'll definitely get the bushing from either Energy Suspensions or IPD. I didn't specifically see Vovlo listed in ES, but for the rear, it looks like you can buy the parts according to bar diameter.

The front es poly bushing would have to be matched up with the stock unit which has a spacer which moves the top of the bushing below the frame rail which is unlike most. The es endlink bushings are universal and if using the supplied cup washers would reqire drilling to a larger diameter to fit the endlink rod. 3/32's is the bit I used - not sure of metric size. I did not have the time to match the front bar, U shaped bushing. I'll get around to that later.

Sorry, I didn't suggest there was an urgency or even a requirement to do so. The rear nformation alone is great news. I finally looked under the rear of my V90 and discovered that I have NO swaybar at all....How can they build a high performance wagon w/o a sway bar in the rear? One of the 'option packages' I suppose.

Thanks for that y'all! I have ordered a full front set minus the anti roll bar links from the UK, expensive but they were listed. I'll try Energy Suspension for the links and looks like I'm still making my own out of universals for the rear so far!!!!! Unless anyone has a supplier for rear bushes, my axle does wobble around a bit!!!!

I hope I'm wrong, but I'd bet that he'll not find poly bushings for the 960 series. IPD carries about three items for this car...pads, 92-94 965 sway bars, and...ok may be two..well there are bulbs you can get! Good luck and be sure to report back...

Well I have managed to source everything for the front end with the help of a member her for the sway/anti roll bar links! Will keep posted and still looking for rears. When I have done the car in them will report back too and give instructions on how members can carry out the same mod.
