142E wagon pricing 140-160 1972

I'm moving back east from CA and I can't ask my dear old wagon to drive that far. Hope to sell to a family member but need an idea what it's worth. The blue books don't seem to go back to 1972. It's in good shape mechanically and looks good. 104,000 miles Thanks for your imput.

THe price is whatever the market will bear. Personally I won't pay more than $500 for a car with automatic tranny.
On another note, there is no reason that the car can't make a trip of a couple thousand miles, even fully loaded. I've done many long road trips with this engine and always get there.

If it runs well and has no rust, good interior, and it is a 145E wagon,
with standard or overdrive, I'd think it should be worth at least $1500 or
more depending on the market in your part of 'fornia.

What year is it? Manual or automatic? You can check the IPD classified buletin board to get an idea what others are trying to sell theirs for.

Oof - an auto. That knocks the price down a bit. Most people will be mentally figuring in about $400 - $500 to swap in a manual/OD transmission.

First off if its a 142 wagon, that must be extremely rare. And worth a lot of money... (Pun intended) No a 145 wouldn't be worth much, sell it to me for $200.00.

Don't give those guys with access to junkyards an MIG welders ideas!

Although a 3 door 140 series wagon would be sort of neat. Kind of like a newer Duett?
