Oooh, you guys are the best! If I were judging from the posts, I might like to take a ride in a couple of your Volvo's - topless of course! But let me tell you I am blonde, with blue eyes, and am fit...and I know my way around an engine. But seriously, I think my favourite drive is in a Volvo convertible with my hair blowing behind me. Anyone care to come along? ;-)

As you can tell, sexiness is in the eyes of the beholder. As I understand your question, I would have to say that the C70 convertible or coupe would be the sexiest, however I think that's pretty much true of any converible and a woman. But then, an alluring woman will catch my eye no matter what she's driving....or pretty much whatever she's wearing for that matter.

Very easy question but there are more than one sexy Volvo that would compliment a woman. If you're the sort of woman who would ride behind your hubby on the Harley, then I would say a sports Volvo like the C70 or the P1800, they did not sell the 480 in the States but that is a sexy Volvo, maybe the 780. If you perfer to ride your own Harley next to your hubby, then a Volvo 240 Turbo is the way to go.

I would say the recent C70 convertible. When I do see the rare one, I always check the woman out. (Hey, I'm being honest here) If I see a man driving - he must have some serious self confidence, because it IS a woman's car!! They are very sexy, no doubt about it.
I also think the 855R red sex models are
really attractive - especially with an female behind the wheel.
C70 Reliable? Well maybe not. Our 855 is VERY reliable.
1800/1900's are nice, but are you a DIY'er?

Is my 1988 240DL. (back in 2001). I've had a 740, 240, and now 850 and 940...and I got TONS more chicks in my blue '88 240DL. It didn't even have air-conditioning. Why? I will never know......
The 850 comes close though, but does not match the draw that my 240 had. Maybe the ladies knew how much money I had b/c of the little time it spent being repaired!! j/k

It's strange, my last car was a vintage 68 XJ6, and that certainly didn't "get me any chicks," not even compliments. But now that I have a 240 several girls have actually looked at me driving it and smiled! Which is very unusual for me, normally I'm invisible as far as they are concerned. Maybe they are only smiling at a fellow volvo owner, there are millions of 240s in Portland. I don't know.

The Jag is indisputably the more sexy car -- but most women don't think that a sexy car makes a man sexy. They dig you in the 240 because it's understated, and says, "I'm conifident and comfortable with who I am." And women DO find that incredibly sexy.

I'd say that the 1900 is probably the sexiest followed by the 444, 544
and P1800.
