Wipers work on high speed only... 740.

any common fix for this type of problem? Is there a wiper speed controller somewhere or does the wiper motor just have multiple taps/windings on it to control speed?
low speeds don't do anything, won't even return the wipers to the park switch. High speed works great, but if you turn it off in the middle of a stroke it won't auto-return to the park switch. frustrating when I'm trying to shift/drive in drizzle conditions. If it's pouring down rain I guess I won't have any problems.. ;)

Hi Matt: I would check out your grounded connections on the grounding block on the drivers side . It is just behide the air intake box. Make sure they are clean and tight. Also check your relay behide the fuse panel behind the ash tray. The contacters might be stuck. good luck, Dan M.
