I'm selling my 242T to a friend who lives in Brooklyn, and as she is a newbie to the Volvo world, I'd like to offer her a recommendation for a quality mechanic in her area: anywhere in Brooklyn, Queens, or the surrounding area would be great.

Can anyone help?

I haven't been there myself, but I have heard some people recommend Capsule Motors in Brooklyn. The Car Talk website has a mechanic finder/review database... here's a link to the Capsule listing.

My own mechanic is Raw Bear Performance in Clifton, NJ. I highly recommend, but it would be a bit of a hike from Bklyn. If you want more info about Raw Bear, let me know...
