I stopped at some friends last night for a short time, and when I returned to the car it wouldn't turn over to start. The lights were strong, but nothing happened when I would turn the key. I also tried moving the automatic from park to nuetral, think that the nuetral switch might be sticky, still nothing. I also checked the fuses, and everything was ok. I left my dachsund in the car, but can't find any sign of her chewing on, or bothering anything. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I've seen starters have a dead spot in the past, but there was nothing intermitant going on previously, or any decline in perfomance of any components in the starter, solenoid, component chain etc., system. Maybe someone can tell you which wires to short at the starter, I think you can bypass a lot of switches, to see if the thing turns over.
