Radiator replacement questions 200

HII was wondering if I decided to replace the radiator would I have to drain the ATF. I know there is a part of the radiator that serves as a transmission cooler. Thanks in advance

Well, it's a golden opportunity to do the ATF flush and refill for the entire volume in the system, but you don't have to. You'll lose about a quart when unhooking the lines and replacing the rad, but try to observe and estimate just how much, then replace that before starting up, and check the level when everything is fully warmed up. Would be a good idea to flush the cooling system before changing rads, so that the new one gets a minimum of "preinstalled" crud when you start up.
