Trying to get air vent part from dealer- right parts? 700 1986

Hello,
My car has non-working A/C, and I'm considering adding an air vent where I can see a hole covered up by the driver's left foot. I vaguely remember someone posting something about 700's without A/C having air vents by the driver's left foot. This person said they got it from the dealer. Alas, searching my e-mails and the forum revealed nothing, same with the FAQ. Since the dealer is the last place I like to go for 'upgrades' I called my best volvo junkyard, but he didn't think he had any cars without A/C. I went to the dealer and we found a picture that looked like maybe what we needed. From the picture I couldn't tell if the vent was open and closeable or if it just stayed open. Anyway, the parts and part numbers are as follows:
3522562-2 Spring $2.25
1320277-5 Sealing Ring $3.77
3522559-8 Ventilation Hatch $21.62
6841020-8 Sealing Cover $15.53

Does anyone know if this is what I need (or is that person who did this to their car listening)? The dealer won't send it back if I get it and it looks like it won't work- even without removing it from the packaging. I'd hate to waste ~$50 and not be able to use any of it.
Also, can the passenger's side have a vent also? Perhaps that would explain why the computer said to buy 2 of the expensive items.

Thanks a ton,
Nathan

I recently did that to my car. I don't have the invoice so I can't identify the part numbers. All I ordered was the ventilation hatch. It came with the seal and the spring. The sealing cover, I believe, is what you already have. Remove this to install your new vent. Tip: There is a small air dam on the bottom of the sealing cover on the inside, already in your car. Save this and install it on your new vent to increase effectiveness. I don't know why they installed it on the cover. Also, I put a bead of RTV around the perimeter to prevent water leaks, as the covers are nororious for leaking.
