I looked @ a 240's rear susp. today... 140-160 1968

it looked exactly the same as mine in the picture. Anyway, I heard the MVP sells an improved panhard bar for the 240s. What is the difference in panhard bars between the 140's and the 240's. BTW i talked to John at Vintage Perf. and he said he can get me poly bushings for the pan. rod and also the torque rods. Sounds like a good idea to me because ride is no problem and I would like the ultimate for my car in progress...... What do you guys think?
Later,
Kyle

I've got John's poly bushings in the 1800 and IPD poly bushings in the 122 (it's a '66, and the rear bushings are completely different). Both made a very noticeable improvement in handling and no decrease in ride quality. The bushings I replaced weren't particularly worn out.

In fact, the 1800 always had that "Bilsteins too stiff in the back" feel people complain about -- that went away completely with the polys. They improved the ride!
