Check wiring to the O2 sensor. Maybe try reinstalling the old O2 sensor if you still have it around.

Just curious here: When you first start the engine cold, does it idle OK for the first few seconds (When I "believe" the O2 signal is ignored by the CPU.)?

it runs fine and smooth when I start the engine in the morning - for a few seconds, as soon as I put in reverse/drive, idle jumps a bit and engine vibrates, checked the 02 voltage, ranging from .4 to -0.01 as I played with the throttle......... any idea, TIA

I don't know what the tolerable voltage specs are for O2 sensor. The FAQ describes testing the Bosch version, but not the Regina. At least your's is fluctuating somewhat as you vary the throttle, which must be a good sign???

Have you cleaned the throttle body and IAC valve recently? How about checking the fuel pressure/regulator?

throttle is shinny clean, TBS/IAC/FPR are all less than 15 months old, all checked last night per FAQ and in good shape....... the AMM, air box thermo???? big $$$
btw, the o2 sensor and converter are less than 2 months old - no problem but figured to replace them for security, appreicate your input...
