another radio...HELP 200 1989

I have got to be the village idiot-at least today. I'm in the middle of scrapping the cr712(finally)The Aiwa cdI'm putting in is very simple. The wiring for it is marked right on the chassis.I'm having a lot of trouble with the Volvo side wiring.I can't find the constant+, the switched+ and which colors are which for the two front door speakers. I was going to add two more in the rear but have wasted too much time already. That will have to be another time. What wires do what? I got a fat black, red, orange, green, blue and yellow, all solid color. Can any one help me out here?

Those crazy Swedes.. you'll notice when trailing a wire that it becomes a different colour, same wire, but changes and trails off somewhere..the audio are not asdifficult, but I just installed a new head unit today..here's what I did..it was far less of a headache-go buy speaker wire-wire the speakers up to the dash just behind your new unit. The positive power wire is obvious, so ignore all that spaghetti and ground your unit, hook it to the power, and connect your new wires remembering which is back and front as theyre not colored now into the connections n the back of the unit. If you're hooking up an amp or extra goodies, ignore all this and get out the excedrin migraine. Mine works good, sounds great. -D.

I ended up taking your advice....I picked up the speaker wires where they come inside the body(from the doors), spliced in new wires and took care of my problems. Why in the world would they switch colors2 or 3 times on the same line-must have bought a whole lot of 'wire factory end pieces'.Goota love those Swedes.

The blue and the green seem to be constant power.Isn't normally red a + and black is normally -? this doesn't seem to be the case.Is it just that my car is weird?
