0 580 464 068 BOSCH Fuel pump power connectors don't fit. Or maybe the sleeves can be removed 200 1985

I recently ordered a new BOSCH fuel pump for my 85' 240 numbered as 058-04640-68. It seems that the power connectors(long plastic sleaves) are different than the volvo oem ring and nut type. This fuel pump requires a Banana type connector. Do you have any of these connectors available or know of any sources when I can get a pair.

BTW....Are these yellow and black sleeves removable?

Any ideas?

Thanks

The "ring and nut type" you describe is aftermarket. OEM has a black and yellow sleeve, and banana type conectors with plastic insulators. Best thing I can suggest is go to a junkyard and grab a fuel pump harness. Short 2 wire harness has a ground lug and conector under the back seat, then remove the gromet that runs through the floor and disconect from the pump.

From what years of 240s I can find the banana type fuel pump wiring harness?

Thanks

Mike
