Virgos - To lock or not to lock? 200 1989

I recently purchased and installed a set of virgos on my 89 240 DL (thanks Rhys).
They look nice, they are in nice (but not EX+) shape, with nice centers.
I also installed new performance 205/60R15s (cheap) on them.

Question: Should I get keyed lugnuts for security? I've never had stuff stolen from me and am not very experienced in this area...

Opionions, please.

Thanks,
Greg

Sorry everybody, but the day I put my Virgos on I added a set of locks for mine. But I am way much more worried about somebody stealing the center caps from them. CAnt see myself paying for a new set on Ebay.

Greg,

I would agree with Miguel on this one. I've had Virgo's for the better part of 12 years on various bricks of mine without a single one stolen. Damn the feindish soul who would steal from another brickhead.

Same here. In my area, 200/700 Volvo parts and wheels are not coveted very much... besides from other Volvo owners, that is! When somebody steals a 240, it is because a Honda/Toyota/Nissan was not readily available. They don't want the Volvo's parts. They just want a get-away car.

Virgos - No lock 200 1989

I don't know what wheels are HOT in Ottawa, but down here in crimeville, an old Virgo is not a desired item. The only theif would be another brickhead, heaven forbid, and we sort of know each other.
Save the $(canadian of course) and spend it on some floor mats!

Happy Motoring
Miguel
