Can someone hook me up with an exhaust manifold? 200 1987

Greetings from Cleveland! Driving to work today saw the exhaust system slowly self-destruct toward the front of the car. Thought it was going to be the catalytic converter, but was relieved that it was only the flange from the headpipe to the cat that broke off. New headpipe, clamps, hangers and labor at the local Midas (45 minutes, $140 total) and I was off and running. However, the tech showed me, with a light and a mirror, that my exhaust manifold had developed a crack just below the Oxygen sensor and therefore it would sound like an exhaust leak when driving (which I guess, it is). Further, it'll prob'ly only get worse with time. Since it looks like an easy R&R, especially with the bolts fresh from the shop, I'm wondering if anyone out there has a manifold they want to part with? If so, drop me a buzz, give me the details, and we'll arrange the deal. Thanks in advance.

Brad

If you are still looking for a manifold I got one that you can have. All you need to do is pay for the shipping.

If you want to fix it, it can be welded easily and cheaply(with cheaply being the key word here). Take it off, which you'd have to do anyways, and lightly gring the area of the crack. Now it can be welded using a rod w/ high nickel content.Preheat the manifold with a torch before welding it(or for a really low buck way-use the oven @500 for about 1hr).After welding it, allow it to cool slowly.I've used the same oven and turned it down 100 degrees every 45 minutes or so. It might be ugly, but it works(and best of all, didn't cost me anything)It only takes 1 welding rod, so expense, even at a shop, is practically nothing.
I then used the downtime(waiting for it to cool)to do some much needed detailing and minor maintenance.
Or you could plunk down $20 at the boneyard, and change it out in less than an hour and be on your way!

Don't 'gring' it...grind it!

Just wondering what model car and what engine are you trying to find an exhaust manifold for? Does the engine have turbo?

The more information you can provide about the vehicle will make it easier to help you.
