A/C dye visible without A/C UV light?

I am about to pull a vacuum and charge up my newly retrofitted system in my 240. Not sure if there is a leak, I'd like to be able to detect it. Dye was put in.

Question: If the vacuum holds, I charge up, is there any way to see for a leak within a week if I DO NOT have a UV A/C light? What is considered ultraviolet anyway? Is there anything else I can use?

Any other DIY methods of finding leaks? I've heard of soap suds way but not sure about that...

Thanks,

No: you hve to have a focused UV light source to see the leaks and a set of UV-enhancing glasses. Buy both at JCWHitney or at one of the many a/c shops on the web.
