Please, help with alignment specs for '95 960 S90-V90

Please, help me with alignment specifications and instructions, front and rear, for a '95 960 (I think these will be the same as for S90). Thank you and best regards.

Please, help with alignment specs for '95 960 S90-V90

The toe in is set by the steering links, as for the rear, there may be some excentrics in there but I don't know where. Generally, they didn't make too many adjustment available.

My 965 A/C is crapping out again. I'll know more later today, but I suspect I'll need a new condensor, due to galvanic action.

The weather has been weird here, cold and rainy up to last week, hot and humid this week.

The 965 does need new ball joints and tie rod ends, so I'll be doing that soon. I had to replace the sway bar links due to the bad winter. Same with the V70.

Regards

Hello Warren:

It is nice to hear from you. Sorry about the weather, I heard it will be about 100 degrees in NYC today. The Volvo condenser I pulled out the 960 was condemned to galvanic action because the aluminum body was held with (rusting)steel parts without even some insulaton between the two metals. One piece of good news is the Scan-Tech (from a Danish company, but made in Argentina) condenser I received from FCPGroton has a different design without steel touching aluminum. Another piece of good news is it was easy to take out the old condenser, and put in the new, working from the front of the car and below it. As I remeber, all I had to take out were the air guide pieces in front and below the condenser. Undoing and doing the one coupling connection to the condenser was easy. From looking at the Volvo and Scan-Tech condensers side by side I could not tell which was more efficient. The Volvo one was larger, but the Scan-Tech seemed to have a more efficient design. Still, the A/C blew very cold air (around 36 degrees F, at times approaching 32) when I was finished. One piece of bad news is the Volvo evaporator, I think, suffers from that same design flaw as their condenser, so it is trouble waiting to happen.

If you come across any hard informaton on alignment like numbers or diagrams, please email to . Best regards.

Rafael
