engine cuts out 900

My '94 945 recently began to stall while driving, without warning. I've replaced the fuel filter, and the car was recently tuned. Once stalled, the car re-starts after about 2-3 minutes. It feels like a fuel delivery problem. The car has 156,000mi, mostly trouble free. Any ideas? Thanks

I just had a similar problem and the OBD codes led me to the RPM Sensor. Check the #6 socket on the OBD and if you get a 2-1-4, then you get to drop $50-$60 on a new RPM sensor. It seems to have cured my problem. When I pulled the old one the rubber insulation down at the sensor on the flywheel was pulled apart and I wonder if that caused the problem somehow.

You have a bad FPR - Fuel Pressure Regulator.

It sounds like a bad Fuel Pump relay. The solder joints on the relay get weak over time and can cause funny connections. Had the same problem on my '91 740 that I used to own. It's accesible behind the fuse panel.
