Anyone have info on Saab APC? 200

I just found out that hitting enter in the subject line posts the message. Anyway I had a pretty good day at the bone yard getting the car safety inspected. I picked up a Saab APC system for almost nothing. I thought I had more specific info about wiring it but I can't find it. The only problem with it is the shielded signal wire has been cut, and I am not even sure if the knock sensor was right. Does anyone know where I could find part numbers? The Bosch PN on the sensor is 0 251 231 001. Any suggestions on how to repair the cut cable, or where I could get shielded signal cable? Do the ignition knock sensors have shielded cable I could scavenge?

i don't know nothin bout them sweedish cars, but i do know this. i have a couple friends with saabs here in minneapolis. there's a mechanic by the name of jerry who is THE saab man in the upper midwest. he does absolutely no advertizing and is booked out for at least five or six weeks typically. does excellent work and charges a pitance for his expertise. i'm sure he could point you in the right direction. if you catch him on a good day he'll talk your ear off and all that. on a bad day he might just blow you off. he's one of those mild mannered slightly tempermental types. 612-871-9476. if you catch him on a bad day, there's a dealership in princeton, mn that is suposed to be supurb. andrew's is the name. their service dept. should be able to help you out. word is they're very friendly and helpful. you can find them on the internet. (they have the internet on computers now...) hope this helps...
