Hi, I just found a cheap source for brand new 16" Hydra wheels for $239 each per wheel. Now, that's not an inconsequential sum of money, but considering they were $680 from the dealer years ago, $239 new is a pretty good deal.

Anyways, I received these and they do not come with centercaps. Herein lies my question. Do the centercaps for the 15" Adhara wheels like so: fit the Hydra wheels?



Normally I'd go and pop off a center cap and try it but my car right now is 2 hours away....... (just bought a 1993 940 Turbo wagon with only 59K miles!!!]

Or, if someone has the part numbers to the Hydra wheel center caps I'd much appreciate it!

Jason, Are these new in the box, never used, or are these refinished wheels? If they are originals they are a good deal.

Damn good deal on those Hydras. I paid $508 each for mine three years ago. That was with my VIC (Very Important Customer)discount at the dealer.

Just to make sure - is the top pix the wheels that sell for 239.00 ea.?

The bottom pix is the wheels that I have on my 745T ...and the top is on my 940T (that I plan to sell).

I am looking to swap these out, and I had no idea they were so expensive. Food for thought !!

Yes, the top picture are the $239 ones and the bottom ones are the ones that came on my 940T as well.

Indeed, when Hydras sell on ebay they do seem to command top dollar. I think part of the reason is because they are prob the most desirable of all OE wheels that fit on 240s and 740s and 940s.

They've always been ridiculously expensive new, which has kept the used price very high as well. I think at this price, these guys will sell a lot of the 16" variety.

The Hydra cap is identical to the Draco and Adhara cap and probably has other applications as well. Part # 1343663-9
