ball joints 92 960 900

i want to change ball joints on my 92 960 . any tips, ideas do's and don'ts.
also since i am there i want to change all the bushings. are these bushings easy to come out or seized ? is it a DIY job or i should let a garage do it.

thanks

I've done it. A very straight-forward proceedure. Make sure you have a ball joint seperator handy. Do you have tool-rental stores in your country?

I've replaced the ball joints and the front 4 strut rod bushings,it's pretty straight forward, but dont tighten up the strut rods until the weight of the car is down on the ground, but have everything snug first.I had a little trouble tightening the rear bolts of the strut rod where it connects to the frame due to clearance. you could probably do it on ramps, but i dont like using ramps,I support mine with jack stands. I've read that if you tighten them up with the wheels hanging it puts a strain on the bushings when lowered.
