This is the first time I have worked on a Volvo. It is a 1983 240DL 2 door that stalls during a right hand turn. No stalling Straight ahead or during left hand turn.

Kind of a stab, but your passenger side motor mount is broken and the insulation is crumbling on your engine's wiring harness. An 83 DL in the US has a B23F motor with LH2.0 injection. If you search on harness, you'll read many stories about this trouble and how to deal with it.

Art, living in NH USA from time to time a Canada fitted Volvo shows up with twin Strombergs, and is why I asked.. I have seen this with carb models . Mac

Mac, a lot of folks would kill for one of those...what is it, B23A?, cars from Canada. But you had already asked and got an answer. Without much diagnosis done, a wild stab was all I could muster based on others' experience with the environmental wiring.

I'll go look at the trim thread; I remember saying something about double-stick tape not having much to grab on the rocker trim. Hope I have my terminology right...
