Turbo Hose 700

It's looking like I need to replace the short (~4") blue hose that connects directly to the turbo (exit side). It's got a small split in the surface. What is the inside diameter of that guy - 2"? Anyone know of a source in Vancouver, B.C.? Volvo wants $50

So it sounds like the Volvo dealer price of $51 Canadian Dollars is not out'a line then.

Thanks I've got one on order,
    Ian

PS - I've already replace most of the other Turbo hoses, it would sure be nice to get ride of the oil that ends up in these hoses...The breather system seems ok...is this just to be expected on an 87 with 240,000 km's?

I just ordered that same hose from my dealer for $30. Mine was the original hose with 284,750 miles on it.

Consider looking into a silicone hose for that from one of several on-line suppliers. Measure for proper fit, though. I have read that this hose is some diameter and/or length which is odd (like 4" long, not 3", whatever)

Call around to some speed shops, rice tuner places, sport compact retailers, etc in your area.

As a bonus, if you source for a silicone hose, you mat get to choose a color you like.
