Does anyone know what the round plug going into the instrumant cluster of a 87 240 is, as far as a diagram I mean? I have about an inch of red wire that has been cut from I believe pin #9 Please help if you have anything thanks!!

I believe the red is pin 11, but not sure which light or guage it goes to as I cant find my reading glasses. Can tell you later today when I buy a new pair.

in the green volvo manual of the instrument cluster is indicated:


pin 9 = white = power supply (coming from fuse 8)
red = pin 11 = charging light of dynamo



no match of a nr 9 pin with color red
