240, 1989, 15000M engine cut off 200

For about 6 months or so, once every 3 weeks, I am driving and the engine cuts off. No warnings, no nothing, it can be cold weather or warm, I can be driving 50, 80 MPH or standing, the engine stopps. About 5 minutes later the car starts, and drives for an other 3 weeks. The engine lights is on for about 1 or 2 days, error code 144 is in the computer. Error code 144 is "load signal is missing". This is a wire between the ezk and the lh computer, anywhere from .3 to .6 VDC. I measured with a voltmeter. The wire is okay, the connectors are okay, the voltage is there. Can somebody help me please??????????

Check the Air Mass Meter, located behind the airbox on the left side of the engine compartment. Also, the jetronic computer, or event the Lambda Sond Unit. I replaced all three on my 87 wagon after having the same problem, and it hasn't done it since.
