You need to remove the stearing wheel and clean the contacts on the clock spring. Before you do anything disconnect the battery, now you can remove the four screws that hold the air bag on, carefully remove the connector from the air bag as you pull it off the stearing wheel. Now remove the nut from stearing shaft and rock stearing wheel side to side then top to bottom. the wheel should come off. If it does not you need a stearing wheel puller to remove the wheel. Once you get the wheel off you will see a contact ring on the bottom of the wheel. It will be a brass color with dried grease on the edges. clean off andput aside. There is a clear plastic round piece that will have a small pinn that is spring loaded which contacts the the ring on the stearing wheel. If you use your car a bunch in the city, parking and turning, the pinn can get worn to the point that it does not touch the ring on the stearing wheel, if thats the case it need a new clock spring. Other wise just clean the pin with electro clean, grease the brass ring and install stearing wheel and air bag. Connect all wires and screw air bag back on. Now reattach battery cable and it should work. Good luck.
