VOLVO 960: The horn honks when I turn left. 1992

The subject says it all. One day I started it up as per the usual and 10 minutes into the drive I turned left and the horn stayed on until I straightened the wheel. It now does this every time I turn the wheel left.
I would appreciate directions on how to disconnect the horn.

Thanks,
Nick

My friend had the same problem on his old Triumph. After a few hours of debugging, the answer was in front of our noses. The hot wire leadinbg from the horn had been pinched in the steering column. When ever he turned, the wire stressed enough to make it to ground. Look carefully at the horn's hot wire. You may have the same problem. (Triumph's are build like crap.)
