Right angle drive for OD. 120-130

As I am planning on installing a D type OD into my '68 122 w/a B18 I am wondering if I will need one of those right angle drives, even though I have the longer speedo. Will I need a different gear for the OD other than the one that's in my M40? Are those speedo gears color coded in some way?

There's an OE cable for 122s with OD, and it's plenty long enough to use without the (sometimes troublesome) angle drive.

1. Not if your cable is long enough but it would be nice to have.
2. Possibly, but it depends on what the OD tranny was used in originally.
Best bet is to try it out and see what it does. The gear from the M40 will
probably not work in an M41, at least the ones in the J type are not similar.
3. Yes but I have had some trouble cracking the code. Counting teeth works.
