Hi I will like to know if somebody have any diagram or drawing to extract the console, inorder to found A/C recicling ventilation. tks.

The heating/AC unit is very large and very very difficult to remove. It extends from the right side almost to the steering wheel. It is electronically controlled by the ECC climate control module on the dash. All vacume servos to direct air flow are controlled by six solonoids which open and close vacume valves. This unit is easily seen by removing the passenger side knee bolster cover. You will see the vacume lines and the solonoid valves. This unit can fail and has been known to require resoldering of the connectors on the small PCB.

I beieve the recirculate vacume servo can be seen by looking to the extreme right and up. The servos can develop a leak. Troubleshooting can be done by pinching of these lines. A Mighty Vac suction pump can be used to test the servos. Check for vacume supply which comes through firewall close to freon lines.

OUTODORS COME IN CAR WHILE A/C IS WORKING ( I USE THE RECICLING BOTTOM ) BUT STILL COME IN ODORS ( GAS, SMOKE FOR OTHER CARS ). I NEED TO CLOSE THIS INORDER TO STOP IT.

When the recirculate button is pushed and shows red the recirculate servo will move immediately and close a large flap which blocks outside air except for 10 fresh air. When this happens you will hear an immediate change in the sound of the air.
Is the recirculate vacume servo operating at all?

I have been to Panama many times and have driven around Panama City to El Valle, Colon and up to the north close to Costa Rica. I understand the problem when you are in traffic, the smells are bad.

Hi...David Hunter..yes I live in Colon and actually all days are drive to Colon city and always outdor come in car, I a press the bottom and light come on but still come in fresh air fm outside. Did you know where is the large flap which blocks outside ?? I need to close manually ..
