Routing of Right Front Brake Line 444-544

My right front brake line was removed & "customized" prior to me purchasing the car ('65 PV544F). I just can't visualize how it was originally routed. There is a small hole drilled through the cross member in front of the right front spring that looks like there was a brake line clamp screwed into (I have a spare clamp), and there is a double clamp just in front of the master cylinder that secures both front lines. But the line I have doesn't seem long enough to run across the front of the cross member, and I don't believe the original routing was on the underside of the cross member where it would be succeptable to damage. Could it possibly have been routed through the inside of the crossmember, emerging at both sides from the spring holes? Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe in St Louis

If this works you can see where the hard lines enter the inside of the crossmember. The other two are the stainless mesh lines I had made when I converter the car to front disks.
Cheers,Jim

I don't know about your car, but my '57 444 right front line is routed thru the cross member, not under it.
