What is the size of the flywheel dampener nut? 700

Looks about 25MM is this correct?

What is the size of the flywheel dampener nut? 700

15/16 is correct. I was able to loosen one recently in an emergency type situation by putting my socket and breaker bar on it, positioned to the left side under the car, and bumping the starter so the breaker bar struck the ground and knocked the nut loose. Much easier than fighting with it.
Also look in the 700 FAQ for "Rope Trick".... works well too.

Rob,

I have seen this method posted here before. If you loosen the nut by this means, how do you re-tighten the nut when it all goes back together?

24mm or 15/16 AF if it`s a 4cyl. NMI 700

Sorry I meant the Crankshaft dampener bolt for a ft230 89 745
