Ok, thanks again to the FAQ's here on the BrickBoard I was able to dismantel my sunroof motor and find that the motor itself appears to works fine. The problem is with the sunroof itself, I can't get it to move, the large screw on the motor won't turn manually. How do you dismantel one of these to see where the problem lies? The FAQ talks about venting the sunroof prior to removing the headliner from it. If I can't move it, how do I removed the headliner on the sunroof to see whats going on, why its stuck?

I don't know too much about sunroofs, but this is where I am at with a similar problem.
While checking the metal sunroof operation prior to a purchase of a '94 I managed to get it stuck solidly open. No budging it. The motor was then supposedly replaced. After purchase, I found four loose screws on the top of the track, tightened them and it stuck open again, solid, same as before. Loosened the screws a 1/4 turn and it worked fine. The car is temporarily with one of my children and I have not been able to check it further. The FAQ indicates that track lubrication is important and alignment is critical. I am hoping that the track alignment is my only problem.

Did you push the pin up and turn really hard with your screwdriver?

Also, push up, or down, on the rear of the sunroof as you twist the screwdriver.

Haven't tried pushing on the sunroof but I have tried to turn the screw with enough force to be afraid of breaking something. I'll try pushing on the sunroof while turning to see what happens.

Turn the screwdriver right (clockwise as you look up) while pushing up on the rear of the sunroof. Conversely, turn the screwdriver left while pushing down on the rear of the sunroof.
