I've been looking at early 90's 740 and 940 on e-bay and one thing I want is cruise control. Did all these cars come with cruise control, or was it an option. Seems most cars today have cruise and these Volvo's, being upscale cars should all have it. Thanks, Bill

My 89 745 has CC on it, pretty simple setup while at it, works great for its age, now if i could just get the car to go faster id be inbetter shape but i was spoiled once with a Turbo and thats what i expect .

It was an option, but many cars have it. Retrofit is easy and used CCs sell from $75 to $100 depending on model year.

Can you suggest where I can look for a used cruise set-up? Up here in Erie, Pa, we are not too well supplied with used Volvo part sources.
