'93 960 Calipers 900

Took old calipers off of my 1993 960 and purchased rebuilt ones...dealer took the old calpier carriers off. They are identical except for the metal guide plates. Do the guide plates belong on the top or bottom when installed? Thanks- Tony P.

Well, I think I may have figured out the problem. It seems whoever did the last brake job lost two of the four metal guide plates...and so it goes. I think there should be a plate on both top and bottom...the search is on.
