What Type of Coolant? 700

I just checked the coolant in my 1986 GLE Turbo Diesel and noticed it was below the minimum level. It says in the owner's manual to use Volvo 50/50 blue/green coolant. Is it OK to just use the regular Prestone in the yellow bottle? If so, should I just set a gallon of tap water in a gallon junk for a day or so and let it distill before mixing it?

Also, can somebody tell me where the plug is to empty the coolant container so I can flush the old stuff out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
