Hello Bricksters ,please give me some advise on a 240DL 1989 that,works
fine when it is cold, but dies and NO restart when is HOT.

    Most likely problem is the crank position sensor faulty.
    Other likely candidates are the ignition power stage or fuel pump relay.
    Next time it happens see if you have a good spark at the plugs if OK then its probably the fuel pump relay (can usually be repaired see 700/900 FAQ for details, same system)
