Driver's Seat adjustment broken: HELP!! 900

Dear Brickster's,

I can't drive our brick anymore since the seat is frozen at wife's adjustment. The power seat motor will not move the bottom part seat back and forth anymore. The seat only moves on the left track of the seat, and the track on the right side is frozen. Instead of sliding forward or backward, now the seat just rotates to the left or right slightly. Has anyone had this happen to their power seat?? Please advise.

If you search here a few weeks back, you'll find the answers. I had the same problem, it is fixable if you are "handy".

See the FAQ: the cable on one side has come out of the motor or the gear.
