I saw an add for a set of Virgos in my area. They have some curb rash but are apparently good otherwise. Of course I wouldn't buy them w/o seeing them in person. The asking price for all 4 with center caps and the current tires is $250. What would you pay for a good set of these? I saw some on volvoworld for like $480 ea. plus $40 for the centercaps.

They are ONLY worth that much if you can see them spun on a hub and they spin true. Unrefinished and some curb rash, then they are only priced right if they are not bent. So many of these are bent, it is a risk.

I recently paid $120 for four wheels, lug nuts and center caps at a local salvage yard. Three were excellent, one was nearly black from brake dust, dirt, crud, etc. Minimal curb rash. I am hoping they are straight when I eventually sand, paint and mount them. I have one bad Virgo on my car that I never noticed until I rotated the bad one to the front. Still worth having, since they look nice. Coronas are a nice alternative and more plentiful.
