Auto to Manual swap question.... 700 1990

I have a question on swapping an auto trans for a manual...My 1990 740 has the crank angle sensor...Is this compatable with a manual bellhousing?...Was there bellhousings for the M45/46 that used the bellhousing crank sensor..And what about the flywheel...I hope someone here can enlighten me before I start collecting parts for my swap that will not work...

By the 1986 model year, the M46 bell housing was made to fit the RPM sensor. All you have to do is remove the thin layer of metal.

You will need a flywheel with holes drilled in the perimeter for the RPM sensor. Rex/Regina and LH 2.4 use different hole configurations.
