'93 240 radio 200 1990

I don't think the TD-613 radio that I picked up from a '93 240 is going to work in my '90 240. If anyone's interested in purchasing the TD-613, email me.

Unlock code 200 1990

I can't remember if the later 613 radios had unlock codes in them (if someone on the board knows for sure, please post). -but, if the radio does require an unlock code (after being disconnected from the battery), a Volvo Dealership can provide the code to you. It's easy if you have the VIN number of the car that the radio came from. They enter the VIN number into the VADIS database and it returns the information regarding any recals, factory color codes, factory options, and the radio unlock code (if required).

God bless,
Fitz Fitzgerald.

Why wouldn't it?

It should.

Looking at the back of the '93 radio, the plug where the wires enter the radio case is like the one on the back of my 740 radio. The 740 has an amp and I'm assuming that the '93 240's also had an amp separate from the radio. The original radio for the '90 240, that I want to install this radio in, did not have an amp that I'm aware of.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the amp somewhere under the steering wheel?

Why not just pull the Amp as well?

(I think I read this somewhere a while back. Can't verify it at all though.)

I don't have access to the car the '93 radio came from. I bought the radio thinking it would work for this application.

The '93 radio is model #TD-613. I still haven't been able to determine the pinout for the plug. It's different than my 740.

What model radio, and how many channels do you want? I may have an amp you can use--I have several left over from recent projects. Do you have a junkyard available for wiring connectors?
