Well, the subject about covers it. The car will not idle, rough starts. The plugs were replaced last week to no benifit. Could this be a FI problem?

I have the same exact problem with a 245glt wih cis. same to the tee. i was told maybe clogged exh or cat conv. but i disconnected it and have the same problem still. hopefully we can figure this one out and it isnt too expensive. :o)

Could be the fuel injection temperature sender. Also, need to know whether it's a LH or K-jet car. LH isn't that common anymore. If LH rebuilt AMM's are available if it comes to that.

Assuming the fuel system is a K type,
Is the cold start injector always on?
Try unpluging it after starting.
Other possibility,
Air meter loose, off center, or binding.

Just a guess but it could be the AMM that went. In '82 you might have a K-jet or the LH1 running the 001 AMM. You need to unplug the AMM for the standard test.
