Speaking of Motor Mounts 900 1993

Had my '93 in for servicing today. Mechanic says loud engine noise is most likely due to old/leaking hydraulic motor mounts. I plan to replace them, since they are most likely 11 years old. FAQ seems helpful. I'm particularly impressed with the homemade tools to lift the engine, but if one does not have any spare 2 x 6's laying around, it seems to me with the cost of lumber, just rent an engine lifter for the day.

I think this would also be a good time to do the trans mount while the engine is lifted. Any other thoughts/advice on a 940 mount replacement?

Thanks, Tom

II used ScanTech and I wasn't impressed at all watching engine movement while my son shifted with the brakes applied. Bricksters in the know like the Volvo mounts. I think the tranny mount would be done separately.
